David M. Dvorin focuses his practice on litigation in complex business disputes, real estate matters, and tort and insurance coverage issues. He has represented developers, landlords, lending institutions, business entities of all sizes as well as individuals.

Mr. Dvorin was the Judicial Staff Attorney for the Honorable Frank D. Celebrezze, Jr. from 1997 to 2000. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Mr. Dvorin was named a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” by Ohio Lawyers Magazine in 2009.

  • Represented a real estate developer in a multi-million dollar construction litigation.
  • Represented a real estate developer in a several hundred thousand dollar insurance coverage matter.
  • Represented property owners in a pursuit of fraudulent inducement/negligent misrepresentation claims against a national franchisor which resulted in a substantial settlement.
  • Represented a lending institution in a defense of a class action litigation involving claims brought under the uniform commercial code.
  • Represented a commercial landlord in an extensive “build out” / breach of lease dispute.

Case Study

Client: A former fifty percent shareholder of a corporation that constructed and developed residential properties.

Issue: The client’s former business partner was refusing to pay an agreed amount for our client’s fifty percent interest in the corporation

Solution: Instituted aggressive litigation that encumbered the corporation’s ability to sell its residential properties.

Result: Our client was able to obtain a favorable settlement within a short period without incurring substantial legal fees.
